About

Research, Strategy, Growth and Experience

I am a strategy professional who connects research, audience and market intelligence, stakeholder needs, and business insight to help organizations make clearer decisions and turn evidence into action. I have built my career across tourism research, publishing, advertising, partnerships, community engagement, and independent strategy work.

At Future Partners, I advanced from Research Coordinator to Research Director and directly managed qualitative research delivery while supporting mixed method destination studies, including website usability, meeting planner research, visitor profiles, resident sentiment, workforce studies, and survey development. My role centered on moderation, synthesis, report writing, client communication, and translating findings into practical recommendations.

Earlier, I led advertising sales coverage, audience strategy, tourism partnerships, and integrated media planning for Smoky Mountain Living and Blue Ridge Motorcycling. I assigned and monitored regional territory coverage and worked across editorial, publishing, design, and client needs. At YES! Weekly, I managed a portfolio of more than 50 clients and built print, digital, social, video, sponsorship, event, and community partnership programs across the North Carolina Triad.

Through GroundX, I continue to develop independent work spanning research, growth, donor strategy, market expansion, visitor experience, and strategic communications. The portfolio identifies paid consulting, independent strategy work, and competitive selection work separately so the relationship, authorship, and outcomes remain transparent.

My strength is connecting evidence, people, and opportunity. I am most effective when a problem requires strategic thinking, pattern recognition, clear communication, relationship building, and the ability to move from complex information to an actionable path.
